If they can’t have them in real life, they will play with them in The Sims 4. We’re talking about the addition of toddlers in the latest update that Maxis has announced for this popular game. Until now, with the Create-A-Sim feature was possible to create only “babies, children, teens, young adults and elders”, but the list didn’t include toddlers and players have insisted many times to see toddlers in The Sims 4.

The Sims 4’s senior producer Lyndsay Pearson has admitted that in the two years since the launch of The Sims 4, there were many vocal players who suggested all kinds of changes and new features added to the game. Many wanted to experience the toddler life stage, and their dream is about to come reality soon. “I’m not exaggerating when I say we’ve been talking about this particular update for years. We just had to find the right time, resources and design to allow us to start the heavy process of actually building and bringing Toddlers to life. And believe me when I say it has been really REALLY difficult to not talk about this as we worked to get it right”, Lyndsay Pearson has explained.

Maxis has been working on making it possible to add toddlers in The Sims 4, and Lyndsay Pearson assures players that the little Sims turned out adorable and interactive, and it will be fun to read them to sleep, carry them around the house or help them develop new skills through using flash cards. Aside from toddlers, the upcoming update will bring over a hundred new animations, new outfits and objects.

In addition, The Sims 4 will receive Vampires Pack Update on January 24, which will include special Vampire motives, new traits, many customization options for Plasma and the ability to build the perfect vampire home.
