It appears the rumors about the December Update for Clash of Clans were correct. Supercell announced through its official Twitter page that it would have an “X-Mas” update for the game. Clash of Clans fans had long speculated that there would be some type of winter update for the game.
Supercell showed fans the changes they could expect with the Clash of Clans “X-Mas” up in a live stream they held on Dec. 18, 2016. Some of the things that were seen included:
- Clan Castles are updateable at level 7
- Archer Queen and Barbarian King have maximum level of 45
- Hog Riger is updated to level 7
- Poison Spell can cause more mayhem, with the level cap risen to level 5
Supercell instituted these changes to ensure there was some difference between the 10th and 11th Town Hall Levels. The update will also add and take some away some buffs from spells and troops.
The Poison Spell got a boost in its radius; Witches receive damage and hit point boost. Balloons can attack the moment the target is within the hit zone. Players can also update their Wizard Tower to the 10th Level, but only if the Town Hall is at Level 11. The Walls maximum level is 12.
