Everybody knows by now about the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco caused by the device’s malfunctioning battery. In order to keep up with its competition Samsung rushed the launch date of Galaxy Note 7 and didn’t go through all the testing process and the device shipped with a major hardware malfunction, the device’s battery would somehow overcharge thus causing the battery to explode.
Now that 2017 is here, Samsung has to launch Galaxy Note 8 which is reportedly going to be introduced with a bunch of innovative features and design changes which Samsung definitely has to implement in order to make the Note series appealing towards customers once again.
Samsung isn’t known for equipping its devices with huge amounts of megapixels but instead the company opts instead to optimize the lens technology. Well, this isn’t the case anymore since Note 8 is expected to feature a 30MP rear camera that’s a massive improvement over the original 12MP one.
In terms of hardware performances, according to recent reports and speculations surrounding Note 7, the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s 10-nanometer technology Snapdragon 830 processor that’s going to be coupled with 6GB of RAM. The addition of this new processor will increase the device’s battery life expectancy while improving hardware performance at the same time.
Foldable 4K Display
If this proves to be true, Samsung is definitely going to take the market by storm with Note 8. Rumor has it that Samsung will use a new edge to edge 5.7 inch flexible screen that can be extended into a 6.2 inch one by pushing a button. The display will also have a 4K resolution and this might be proven to be true since Samsung has been reportedly working on a foldable prototype a couple years back.
