The Chinese tech giant Xiaomi brought to life a new device entitled Mi Notebook Pro. The device is available as of today and fans worldwide are already going crazy over it. Xiaomi is no stranger to the laptop market as they’ve launched the Mi Notebook Air in July 2016 which was quickly paired with Apple’s MacBook series regarding its name and build.
It is now widely believed that this launch will cause the same stir as it will come available in two variants, that of 12.5 and 13.3-inch displays which feature a 4k resolution. It is said to sport an Intel i7-6700HQ chip built on 14nm technology and having a maximum clock speed of 3.5 GHz. Its video processing power is given by a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M GPU paired with 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
Having a starting price of ¥6,000 it cannot even come close to Apple’s three times more expensive product. The MacBook Pro’s price tag is indeed available with a Touch Bar and a better build quality paired with a finesse feeling attached to it.
Some complaints have emerged however among MacBook Pro users who have stated that they’re not entirely content with the device’s battery life while others are already switching to Microsoft’s Surface Pro device.
Xiaomi’s new device is set to attract a lot of customers as it has an extremely low price and offers pretty much the best bang for the buck. As to what it can do is still unknown and people are still hoping for the device to device to have no flaws.
If it proves to be a major hit, Xiaomi will surely enjoy a skyrocket in sales but more importantly popularity and loyalty from its fans.
