Despite the fact that Rockstar Games continues to release new modes and patches for their ever so popular online mode of Grand Theft Auto 5, fans cannot contain themselves in waiting for some news regarding the upcoming mega-hit that the new series of the GTA franchise will be launched.
It seems however that Rockstar Games enthusiasts will have to wait a long time before the sequel is being release, some even believing that it will take about three years. Rumor has it that GTA 6 will see the light of day in 2020.
Gamers around the world might feel a little bit disappointed because Rockstar’s full focus is on developing the next Red Dead Redemption series. They currently have two separate divisions that work in parallel in order to deliver the highest quality content possible.
A division is working separately to roll out some big updates that will enhance Grand Theft Auto 5’s Online Mode as two big DLCs that are as large as the game itself are being rumored and the other division is working around the clock to fix remaining bugs and issues in Red Dead Redemption 2. They are not expected to make one game better than the other as they both are considered to be hit series.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to be launched in the fall of 2017 along with an online mode. Regarding new expansions of GTA 5 Online, they are set to feature North Yankton and Liberty City which will be released in September 2017. The next DLC will feature San Fierro and Las Ventures and will arrive a year later in October 2018.
It is believed that the new GTA 6 will feature a remastered map of Vice City which was regarded as a big hit among fans. Rumor has it that fans will be enthralled with 4K resolution support that opens new possibilities for VR to be implemented in the game.
