Well, we have some good news for you, as according to reports, the Android 7.1.1 OS is fixing these issues and you will notice that as soon as you install the new OS on your mobile handset.
The new build named NMF26Q is expected to fix all cellular issues that the Google Pixels phones had on O2 (a carrier from United Kingdom). Google claims that this new operating system is removing spaces in front of APN types so that the telephony can find APNs that can handle a particular type properly.

Unfortunately, the big search engine company has not mentioned an exact release date when this update will be pushed to the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL handsets, but it seems that the company has already published the factory image and OTA image on the Android Developers website.
In other words, if you can’t wait until an OTA update will be released, you can already download the new build of Android 7.1.1 Nougat and install it on your Google Pixel/Pixel XL handset.
Aside from fixing the connectivity issues, it seems that his new build is not adding or fixing anything else. In other words, if you don’t have any connectivity issues on your Google Pixel or Google Pixel XL, you should not worry too much about this new update.
