Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is one of the most anticipate devices in 2017. It is good to know that Microsoft has not talked yet about this device, but according to rumors, this 2-in-1 device will be released next year.

According to rumors, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be a tablet that will feature a 12-inch PixelSense screen. Most likely, there will be two models: one which will support 2K resolution and the other one that will sport 4K Ultra HD resolution. When it comes to the specifications, the Surface Pro 5 will most likely be powered by a Kaby Lake processor, which will be backed by 16GB of RAM.

Unfortunately, it’s not sure if the device will sport an NVIDIA or AMD graphics card, but Microsoft will most likely offer more information about this in the coming weeks. It is good to know that the Surface Pro 5 is often associated with the Redstone 2 update, which means that it will most likely run on that version of Windows 10.



As expected, the Surface Pro 5 will come with its own pen stylus that will feature a magnetic charging dock.

According to Tech Times, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to be released sometime in early 2017. Unfortunately, Microsoft has not mentioned when exactly this device will be launched.

However, we remind you that the Kaby Lake processor is expected to be released on this device, which means that it might take a while until we will be able to hold the Surface Pro 5 in our hands.

The mentioned processor is expected to be released before the end of 2016, while the Redstone 2 update will arrive sometime in early 2017. In other words, we should expect the release of the Surface Pro 5 sometime in Q1-Q2 of 2017.
