The new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar was released at the end of October and it’s available in two variants of screen sizes: 13-inch and 15-inch. The price starts at $1500 and can climb up to $2,800, but despite of the negative reviews (shallow keyboard, a single USB-C port, a weaker processor compared to other super-slim laptops), the MacBook Pro 2016 sales are going very well. However, some stores already offer discounts and below we’ll tell you about the best deals.
If you’ll wait around six months, most likely, you will be able to purchase the MacBook Pro at a discount of $300, although the 12-inch MacBook was sold at a discount of $100 six months after it was released. In 2013, the retail price of the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro was reduced from $1,499 to $1,299 and, hopefully, this time, Apple will lower the price of the new MacBook Pro even more. We don’t know what will be Apple’s decision, but if you don’t want to wait to see what happens, you’d better make your move now and take advantage of the deals offered by various stores.
For example, Amazon is offering a $100 discount for the 13-inch MacBook Pro, which means that you’ll pay $1400 on it. On the other hand, Best Buy is trying to sell the latest version of the MacBook Air with $200 less, so now the 128GB variant costs only $800 and the 258GB variant is offered at $1,000, but customers will need to enter the code MACBOOKDEAL in order to benefit from the special price.
On eBay will be offered iDevices for Cyber Monday, so the 13-inch MacBook Air 128GB will cost $787, while the 27-inch 5K iMac 2 TB will cost $1,900, being reduced from $2,229. Finally, Newegg customers will have the chance to buy the 11.6-inch MacBook Air for $379.99, so it will have a discount of $120. However, the new prices will be available only for the Black Friday, so once the event will end, the aforementioned iDevices will return to their original prices.
