Back in September 2015, Apple has released an iPad Pro that was able to compete with the Surface Pro. It seems that the 12.9-inch handset was good enough to attract a good amount of customers and the iPad Pro sales were quite high.
Unfortunately, the iPad Pro 2 has not been released this year, as the company has preferred to bring a 9.7-inch iPad Pro handset in March 2016. However, there are more and more reports suggesting that the iPad Pro 2 will finally hit the stores sometime in 2017. Today we will talk about the changes that the iPad Pro 2 is rumored to come with.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, a trustworthy market analyst, Apple will most likely release the iPad Pro 2 in three models that will feature a display of 9.7-inch, 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch.
Rumors are suggesting that the iPad Pro 2 will also feature a new screen. Instead of the IPS LCD display, the new tablet will come with an AMOLED display, but it is good to know that reports claim that Apple will also use an AMOLED display on the iPhone 8 with True Tone (improved color reproduction) and faster response time.
At the same time, the specifications will most likely be upgraded. Rumors are suggesting that the iPad Pro 2 will be powered by an A10X processor that will be backed by 4GB of RAM. As for the internal storage, the handset will come in three variants of 32GB, 128GB and 256GB for the Wi-Fi model and in two variants of 128GB and 256GB for the Wi-Fi + cellular models.
The primary camera of the tablet will also be upgraded to 12MP, while the secondary camera will also be slightly improved and it will support 5MP. We remind you that the iPad Pro sports a primary camera of 8MP and a secondary camera is only 1.2MP. You will most likely be able to shoot at 4K using your iPad Pro 2 and the Apple Pencil support and keyboard dock will be better than the ones that came with the iPad Pro.
