Preparing for the release of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Bandai Namco is ready to tease players with a trailer of how do the co-op battles function in the game. It is in fact a preview of the gameplay that focuses more on Expert Missions and shows that players need to be helped by other Time Patrollers in order to be able to defeat strong enemies. This co-op battle type is expected to be the first topic of a video tutorial series Bandai Namco wants to release for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Before releasing the game, Bandai Namco started launching the first tutorial for it. The Expert Mission gameplay showed details about how to defeat a boss, in this case the Great Ape Nappa. From the preview, players could see that if you faced the Great Ape Nappa you had to pay attention for the Brainwash Attack the huge monkey could use. This offensive move would totally remove you from the fight and you would be teleported to “World of Mind Control”, where you have to defeat your own clone if you wanted to go back to the playing field. The catch here is the fact that if you join forces with other Time Controllers in a co-op battle, you could even prevent your allies from a Brainwash Attack.

According to Shoryuken, the Dragonball Xenoverse 2 will release an open beta version two weeks before the official launch. The closed beta version will become available to gamers who pre-order it from the PlayStation store between October 8 and 10. At the same time, all PS gamers can access the open beta programmed for October 14. However, there is no information available on a beta for the Xbox and PC players, but what we do know is that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 should be released for PS and Xbox One on October 25 in North America.
