WhatsApp has over 1 billion monthly active users and this makes it one of the most used mobile applications out there. Today we will talk about a new WhatsApp BETA version that has been released for Nokia Asha devices.
The WhatsApp 2.16.7 is the latest BETA version for Nokia Asha and Symbian 40 devices such as Nokia Asha 201 or Nokia C3. The new WhatsApp version doesn’t bring anything new, but it does fix some of the bugs and issues that were found by the developers or reported by users.
The WhatsApp 2.16.7 .jar (installation) file size has not been increased or decreased, despite the fact that over 210 files have been modified and a thumb file has been deleted. Unfortunately, we should not expect any new features on this version of the application, as the developers of WhatsApp have confirmed that they will stop supporting WhatsApp for Symbian S40 before the end of 2016.
WhatsApp 2.16.7 BETA: How To Install On Your Nokia Asha Device
First of all, you will need to uninstall the current WhatsApp version that you have installed on your Nokia Asha device. When the installation process is complete, use your mobile phone number to get verified and log into your WhatsApp account.
