The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 measures 150x76x8.7mm and weights 164 grams. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro is slimmer and lighter as it measures 139.3×69.6×8.5mm and weights 144 grams. Both phones share the same design, featuring a full metal body curved on the edges, a top center camera and a fingerprint button below it. The three colors available for these devices are Gray, Silver and Gold.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro has a weaker Qualcomm MSM8939v2 Snapdragon 616 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, an Adreno 405 graphics card and 3GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has been released in two internal storage variants of 16GB and 32GB, while the Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro features an internal storage of 32GB. However, you can expand the storage on both up to 128GB using a microSD card.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 sports a primary camera of 16MP that features dual-LED flash, phase detection autofocus, face detection, HDR, panorama, geo-tagging, touch focus and a secondary camera of 5MP. The Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro has a weaker primary camera of 13MP that features phase detection autofocus, LED flash, HDR, panorama, touch focus, face detection, geo-tagging and a secondary camera of 5MP.
Both devices have been released with non-removable batteries, but the 4000 mAh one that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with is slightly less powerful than the 4100 mAh battery that the Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro has.
