The Halo 5: Guardians has been developed by 343 Industries and published by Microsoft. Yesterday, a new free DLC patch has been released for it and it is named “Hog Wild”. However, before we tell you more about this new free DLC, let’s talk about Halo 5: Guardians.
First of all, you should know that the game is exclusively for the Xbox One console, which means that if you have a Windows PC or a PlayStation 4 console, you will not be able to play it. There were some rumors saying that this game will also be released for Windows PC sometime in the future, but even if the game is published by Microsoft, it’s not 100% sure that this title will get released for Windows OS.
When compared to the previous DLCs, the Hog Wild DLC is smaller in terms of content, as it will not come with new gameplay modes or new maps. According to the latest news, the reason why some of the gameplay additions were planned to come along with the Hog Wild DLC is that these additions are pushed back to the next free DLC pack that will be released soon and it will be named “Warzone Firefight”.
The 343 Industries developer company will release the biggest DLC for Halo 5: Guardians sometime at the end of June 2016. The company confirmed that this will be the largest “Halo 5: Guardians” update until now and it will include PvE mode, new game updates and features, several new maps, new Warzone, new Arena maps and more.
The Halo 5: Guardians – Hog Wild DLC comes with four new custom Warthog vehicles such as: Vespin Rocket, Rally Scout, Rally and Sword Needler. In addition, the DLC also comes with new weapons and armors. We agree that this DLC is not so important, but at least it is free and everyone can install it on their Xbox One console without any problems.
