Samsung will release its Galaxy C7 and Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) sometime in the near future. Both are mid-range phablets with similar cameras, but they have different designs and hardware configurations.

Displays and Designs

The Galaxy C7 will come with a super AMOLED display of 5.7-inch that will support a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 386 ppi. Its body is made of aluminum measures 156.6 x 77.2 x 6.7 mm, resulting in a total weight of 165 grams, and the design is similar to HTC’s One M9, featuring curved edges, horizontal lines and a square camera in the top center, with a vertical line above it, which connects it to the first strip. On the other hand, the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) will have a glass and metal design likewise the Galaxy S7, but it will come with a much larger super AMOLED display of 6-inch that will support resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 367 ppi.

Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM



The Galaxy C7 will be powered by a Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 chipset with an octa-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 2.0GHz, an Adreno 506 graphics card and 4GB of RAM. The Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) will have a newer Qualcomm MSM8976 Snapdragon 652 chipset with a quad-core Cortex A72 processor clocked at 1.8GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, an Adreno 510 graphics card and 4GB of RAM.

Storages

The Galaxy C7 will be released in two internal storage variants of 32GB and 64GB, while the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) will come with an internal storage of 32GB. However, you will be able to expand the storage on both devices up to 128GB using a microSD card.

Cameras

Both devices will come with similar primary and secondary cameras, as follows:

– a primary camera of 16MP with an aperture of f/1.9 and features such as autofocus, dual-LED flash, touch focus, face detection, geo-tagging, HDR, panorama;
– a secondary camera of 8MP with the same aperture.

Batteries

Both devices will be released with non-removable batteries. The Galaxy C7 will house an average battery with a capacity of 3000mAh, while the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) will support a giant cell of 5000 mAh.
