May 10 is the day when we’ll get more information about the upcoming Pokémon Sun and Moon games. At 5 AM Pacific Standard Time, Sony will release an exclusive for the PlayStation 4 console called Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and according to Pokémon director Junichi Masuda, the company will “sabotage” its competition by revealing some details of new Pokémon for the fans of the franchise, in the same day.

Nintendo is making a lot of money with its Pokémon franchise and after it will release Pokémon Sun and Moon in Holliday 2016, these games will increase its revenue. This year, the Japanese company didn’t take part in industry events and the only details it announced were through Nintendo Directs, the online home where official and exclusive Nintendo news are released. At the E3 event that will kick off on June 1, Nintendo will reveal information about the upcoming Zelda’s Wii U version, but Pokémon fans will not need to wait almost a month for the Los Angeles event to find out more information about Pokémon Sun And Moon, two games that are expected to be released in Holliday 2016.

In Pokémon Sun and Moon, gamers will choose between more than three types of Pokémon and Volcanion, Zygarde and Mangearna will have an important role, while rumors suggest that the action might be set in two regions. When types were very simple in the past, gamers didn’t know which one to choose from Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. Nowadays, there are 19 different types of Pokémon and fans would like to see a wider variety of types and the reported names are Mokuroah (a grass-type owl), Nyabby (a fire-type cat) and Ashimari (a water-type).

The new Pokémon starters might be confirmed in two days and there are also speculations that GameFreak will offer gamers the possibility to visit old locations. This year, Nintendo will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Pokémon franchise.
