CyanogenMod, a well known custom ROM developing community has released the Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Asus Nexus (2013) and Moto G (2015), keep in mind that the two custom ROMs come in different sizes and you should make sure that you download the right ROM for your device or else it will not work.
Before you start the installation, you will need to make sure that you have an USB cable to connect your device to your computer. You will download the custom ROM and Google App zip files to your computer and copy them to your mobile device.
At the same time, your device will need to be rooted, or else you will not be able to install the custom ROM on it, also, make sure that the device has at least 80% battery left, so that it will not shutdown during the installation process.
Installing Android 6.0 Marshmallow CM13 Custom ROM on your Asus Nexus (2013) or Moto G (2015)
First of all, you will need to download the Android 6.0 Marshmallow CM13 Custom ROM zip and Google Apps zip files to your computer. Make sure that you install the Android 6.0 Marshmallow CM13 Custom ROM for your device (Asus Nexus (2013) or Moto G (2015)), because otherwise it will not work.
After that, use an USB cable to connect your Asus Nexus (2013) or Moto G (2015) to your computer. Now, copy the two .zip files from your computer to your mobile device, once you’ve copied the two .zip files, disconnect the mobile device from your computer and turn it off.
You will need to make the mobile device boot into “Bootloader Mode” by pressing and holding the Power+Volume Down buttons. Once you’ve entered the bootloader mode, go to ClockworkMod Recovery and clear the device memory by selecting wipedata/factory reset. Here, you will need to select “Wipe cache partition” and once this is done, head back to the ClockworkMod recovery, select Advanced and tap on “wipe dalvik cache”.
One you’ve wiped your mobile device’s memory, you can return to the main recovery screen and tap “install zip from SDcard” and choose the Android 6.0 Marshmallow CM13 ROM .zip file, after that, you will need to select “install zip from SDcard” again and select the Google Apps zip file.
After these two .zip files are installed on your Asus Nexus (2013) or Moto G (2015) device, you will need to select “Go Back” and restart the device by using the “reboot system now” option.
