Google has already started rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow to its Nexus devices, other smartphones manufacturers such as Motorola and HTC have also announced which of their devices will get the new Android OS version.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes with many new features including 30% standby battery life and new privacy, new permissions controls that the option to deny applications’ access to specific features, Google Now on Tap and many more. It is good to know that Google Now on Tap will pop-up some extra information about anything a user writes, reads or listens and it can be activated by pressing and holding the home button.
Here Are The Devices That Will Surely Get The Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update:
- From Google
A good part of Google’s Nexus smartphones and tablets will be getting the Android 6.0 update. Here is the official list of Nexus devices that will surely get this new OS: Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 9, Nexus Player, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P.
- From HTC
– HTC One E9, HTC One E9+, HTC Desire 820, HTC Desire 826, HTC One M9, HTC One M8, HTC Desire 816, HTC One M9+, HTC One ME, HTC One E8, HTC One M8 EYE and HTC Butterfly 3.
3. From Motorola
– 2015 Moto X Pure Edition (3rd gen), DROID Turbo, Moto MAXX (2014), Moto Turbo (2014), Moto X Style (3rd gen) (2015), Moto X Play (2015), Moto G (3rd gen) (2015), Moto X Pure Edition in the US (2nd gen) (2014), Moto X in Latin America, Europe and Asia (2nd gen) (2014) and Moto G and Moto G with 4G LTE (2nd gen) (2014).
For now, only these devices will surely get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, we’re sure that soon enough, other manufacturers will start listing the devices that will receive this OS update.
